it's 830pm & i'm comin back from a nice long band prac & dinner
i stare outta the window of the train
just lost in my own thoughts & lookin out as the train pulls into another station

a guy kicks at the window in my face.

Today, I talked to a few diff people about the future
uni, careers, dreams blah
since it's gettin closer
but yea

I think I'm gonna try for International Studies
& travel away for a year
try to join a NGO
learn
do something useful for a change =)

tell you what sucks?
these days, if you're artistic...
cos it's so damn hard to live off your art
whether its music, art or drama etc
unless you're 100% dedicated
your art ends up becoming a side project in life

but then again
I know some pretty damn talented people.
just hope it works out for them ;)

artists, musicians, actors, actresses...

who knows?

I thought by this stage I'd outgrow stupid dreams & think realistically.

some people try to encourage me to go further with singing.
but,
nah

it's not like my grandma's time
when she could run away & join a travelling troupe
& sing to make a living

Wanted to be a singer ever since I can remember
but what can you do..
esp. if you let it turn out this way.
