time to start appreciating the $$.
it's funny how you start lookin at anything you wanna buy
& wonder how many hard hrs of work it's worth.
esp. if you're gettin up before sunrise to earn it ;)


how many people out there get to earn money doin what they love?
like I'd love to sing an odd gig or two at clubs or somewhere
but that won't be fo a long while
since it's simply:
time + $$$ + experience + band + equipment + connections

but who ever made it without workin their ass off?

for example,
a family friend switched from amateur golfer to pro
once he finally landed a $million or so sponsorship.

so he swings a CLUB at a BALL
wearin grandpa clothes
while walkin for hrs in the heat
...& becomes a millionaire?

daamn.

I know.

oh shiie.
we can do that too, huh?

but then again,
giving up hours to swing & swing
the cost of travelling around the world
missin the best yrs of your life
the pressure of having to perform
hardly being able to settle down..

it all depends on how far you're willing to go.

so I wonder,
where will eryone end up?

will someone make it overseas as CEO of a giant firm
or end up in front of another desk
in another office cubicle
or try to play hero in politics or military
or forever clean toilets
or become f a m o u s
or end up in lockup?

whose gonna get plastic surgery?

who'll get pregnant/get someone preggers first?

& who can forget,
whose gonna hook up with WHO?
